Dadun Residence

We travelled to Foshan – a Guangdong city known as the pottery capital of China – to design this opulent residence for a private client.

Drawing from our client's background and the the city's geography (bordering Hong Kong and Macau), we wove together Cantonese influence with a distinctly Australian sensibility. Natural stone, sourced locally, pairs with warm timber panelling, archway forms and earthy tones. We sought to evoke the feeling of a luxury hotel for Dadun Residence; lending itself to entertaining and hospitality as much as it does a comfortable family home.
